Jet inserts are one of the top 5 spa parts that get ordered online. To figure out which Jet you need for your Hot Tub/Spa/Jacuzzi:
Follow the chart above for measurements.
If there are any numbers on the Jet, those are helpful in finding your cartridge.
The images of the jets are listed as the manufacturers name. Many spa/hot tub companies change the names of their spa parts/jets to fit their marketing programs.
This spa parts category is very large, even if most of the actual parts are small. We will need to know where is the Gasket/O-ring used in your hot tub. Pictures are always helpful. Use the chart for measurements.
Right up there with pumps, these spa parts are used quite often in hot tub/spa repairs. When selecting a replacement flo-thru heater assembly for a discontinued one, there are three important measurements to keep in mind:
1. Length of the housing
2. The distance from LEADING END to element connection
3. The pressure switch location
Note: Measurements 2 and 3 are typically in a fixed position if the heater is installed inside a box.
New holes can be drilled in the box if the heater mounting studs are not a match.
The location of the sensor bulb is not critical.
Additionally, you must consider the wattage of the element. Select the same wattage whenever possible. If same wattage is not available select a lesser, not more, wattage unless you're sure the system and electrical service is capable of handling the additional amperage.
If you are replacing a low flow heater, please make sure you replace your heater with another low flow unit, even if it is not the O.E.M. part. These are designed to operate with the lower flow rates of the smaller 24 hour circ pumps. Know your amperage. Picture of the heater label is always a good thing for reference.
These spa parts are one of the most ordered/replaced for the spa/hot tub do-it-yourself-er.
Basic Pump Diagram
This diagram will help you when it comes to the type of connection your spas/hot tubs pumps use.
When matching pumps always use AMPERAGE rather than Horsepower. Many times the labeled Horsepower does not accurately represent actual horsepower.
